Description

Just started a fortnight long trip in regional NSW for work. Great opportunity to bring the camera along I thought. Here's one from day #1 in Canberra. I sat down to take a break here and noticed there was more symmetry than I first thought, with the sun casting shadows in the right places.

I should also note, I didn't use a tripod for this shot (not that it was the plan)

Canberra was designed to be symmetrical, at least in the central Parliamentary Triangle. This is Commonwealth Avenue heading towards Civic. I would 100% recommend that if you got to Canberra again you take photos from the top of Mount Ainslie which overlooks the entire triangle and shows the perfect symmetry of it, plus night time photos are amazing with ANZAC parage illuminated. Other than that neat photo.
